ANNOUNCEMENTS
For the Weekend of Sunday, January 22 Bulletin
UPDATED INFORMATION
Father Decewicz would appreciate an updated list of our ill and homebound parishioners, as well as those who are in facilities. Also, if Eucharistic ministers who visit the sick could give Father the names and addresses of those to whom they minister, he would be grateful. If you or a loved one is ill or in the hospital, please take time to contact the Parish Office with the information either through a note in the collection basket or a telephone call.
TAE KWON DO
Parishioner Jerry Auen, 4th degree black
belt, and his son, Scott, 1st degree black belt, are holding Tae
Kwon Do classes in the John Paul I Pastoral on Wednesday
evenings in the John Paul I Pastoral Center. The class will
begin at 6:00 p.m. and is for ages 6 through adult. The cost is
$15 per month for one person or $20 per month for two or more
family members. If you are interested in attending, please call
Jerry at 412-781-2635 or 412-956-2656.
ST. MARY CEMETERY
We are pleased to announce the
Virgin of Guadalupe Chapel Mausoleum for St. Mary
Cemetery. Parishioners and neighbors are welcome to
purchase crypts or niches at pre-construction prices. Call
1-877-866-7526
for information.
We are partnering with the Catholic Cemeteries Association in
promoting sales for the Virgin of Guadalupe Chapel
Mausoleum. In the near future, Saint Juan Diego parishioners
will be contacted by a CCA representative, receive the free
booklet, “Catholic Emergency Record File,” and information on
the proposed chapel mausoleum. All CCA representatives
have a photo ID badge. Please welcome them when they call.
CHRISTIAN MOTHERS AND ROSARY SOCIETY
The Christian Mothers and Rosary Society will not hold a meeting during the month of December. The next meeting will be on Thursday, January 19 (weather permitting) in the John Paul I Pastoral Center.
STATUES
As mentioned in a recent bulletin insert, new
statues are to be purchased for Madonna of Jerusalem
Church. Statues of St. Lucy and St. Joseph are currently in the
church; statues of St. Therese of the Little Flower, Mother
Teresa of Calcutta, St. Pio of Pietrelcina and St. Francis of
Assisi are needed. One generous donor has already come
forward to pay for a statue of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
Another has given $500 toward a statue. If a generous
donor would like to purchase a statue or give a donation
towards one of the statues, please call Father Mike at the
Parish Office.
